The others played with other teams last season. Top-level player, UFA who could have gone anywhere, but he re-signed to stay here. It ain't much, but isn't it at least a first step in patching both the team's performance and reputation?

DWAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3800694504837785724.post-60310890283458979252017-03-22T08:10:47.549-07:002017-03-22T08:10:47.549-07:00Sounds as though you are still buying the party li...Sounds as though you are still buying the party line. This team needs help just about everywhere and has tons of money in salary cap land and this is the best they can do?

Yes, you build through the draft. But the way this crew drafts -- and yes, I know it's only one year -- causes me to wonder if they know what they are doing.

I'm willing to admit I am wrong if they attack this year's draft more intelligently than they did last year's.

As for my judgment, I am quite comfortable with where it's at, thank you. richpassannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3800694504837785724.post-54803432690611740232017-03-22T06:01:05.383-07:002017-03-22T06:01:05.383-07:00Thank you Mikehey52(Ref: OBR). This team has said they want to build thru the draft, supplementing here and there with free agents, which is exactly what they are doing. They've done what they could do(and are still negotiating with some) without throwing tons of money at prima donas who'll be around for a year or two. I really thought you had better judgement than that!Brownsouthnoreply@blogger.com
